![]() ![]() It gives us information about sources of stress, our talents that help us get our needs and drives met, core values, and behavior patterns. What makes a good typology?Ī good typology describes the inner principles upon which we operate. Integrated Type is scalable and can be used as a language to improve communication, make conflict productive, and engage employees while promoting growth. Interaction Styles-How we interact, influence and establish rapport (or not)Įssential Motivators (aka Temperament)-Why we do what we do, our deep motivationsĬognitive Dynamics-What information and evaluation process we tend to give preference to and be talented inĮach lens is easily understood and utilized yet the Integrated Type approach gives the means to address the richness and complexity of human beings operating in complex living systems. Each brings different information to understanding human behavior, meaning making, and interactions. Each provides a different lens for different situations. ![]() Integrated Type provides a coherent view, blending three different ways of looking at human beings. Typologies make the unconscious conscious and can help us understand and manage stress. Approaches to problem solving, information, evaluation processes.Typology frameworks will give us ways to understand our natural tendencies such as. It also helps us get out of BLT (Be Like Them) and move into self-leadership. Having a map of understanding differences helps us get out of BLM. We all have a disease called BLM (Be Like Me). Typology frameworks give us a language to understand themes of behaviors, deep motivations and drives, talents and more. Some approaches to typology are more comprehensive than others and include a recognition that type occurs in a context and is influenced by the cultural memes as well as development. Once in our awareness we can make more conscious choices about our intentions/meaning making, our behavior, our relationships, and the structures/systems in which we operate. Typologies are ‘maps’ that describe the essential qualities of these types and make them visible to us. We are unconscious of these needs and drives. Behaviors and mind sets are reflective of the inner psychological needs and drives behind these tendencies. Types that are innate are more than categories of behaviors, mind sets or value perspectives. These natural tendencies incline us to use different styles of interaction, communication, and leadership. In living systems types exist in nature and these types determine sets of natural tendencies. ![]() She's there for her friends and her friends only.Types are categories of things. She's not as interesting as other characters are because others characters can be corrupted. ![]() Her personality is that she can't get corrupted. You see? What you see that she doesn't have a personality IS her personality. She never asks why, she just gets with the program. Responding, because she never initiates anything that's already not there Īnd though I would not guess it rightaway, she's Movement (also known as Progress), because she never talks about any results or outcome like Control types do. Her Interaction style is Direct, with as few words as it can be So we have Direct/Informative, Responding/Initiating and Movement/Control pairs. I would shut out right away that she's an extravert but let's not go there first. This is where Interaction Syles comes into picture. Now the only question remains is which SJ is she. That way they can be compromised or they can be fooled with.Īlso not that it matters but she's concrete. We're used to SP heroes in Star Wars universe, and heroes are only as interesting as they are adventurous or are interest driven. When you say she's not an interesting person it is only because she's not an SP. One/one that is true to either NFs or NTs Now we have two things there that are true to SJs She treats everyone equally, everyone's important, everyone is a friend worth saving. This is also something that people would point out. Every person she encounters, either living thing or a droid she treats them as one of her own. If you watched all movies this can be also not a question. She's relying on the knowledge she's already gathered. This is the one that people can say, oh no she has no personality. She doesn't do anything out of pure interest, it's hard to even say where her interest would be. If you look closely there can be no question about it. This determines whether she is SJ/SP or NT/NF. In Cs Joseph's Type Grid you have to prove two things about that person to find her attitude. ![]()
